2 New IPL Teams To Be Revealed Today

2 new IPL teams are almost ready to be announced today by the chairman of IPL Mr. Lalit Modi. The teams are selected based on the highest budget submitted. It is also well known that the new teams will play from the next season of IPL (2011 season). So, here is the latest news I,ve got.

Huge amount of Rs 46 crores was deposited in as a performance deposit by 5 parties, out of which only 2 parties will be selected today (Sunday 21 Mar 2010). Videocon, Sahara, City Corporation, Adani and a Union Minister are the 5 parties involved in bidding.
Cost is one of the most vital factor here. $225 million is going to be the minimum bid which is 450% more than 2008 budget of $50 Million. It is expected that bid is likely to touch $300 million too.
