2012, the most awaiting movie of the year 2009 would be on screen this November all around the world including some of the Indian theaters in India. This movie is a highly anticipated one this year, and is expected to break all the box office records at any cost. The 200 million $ movie is ready to hit the Indian cinema screens on 13th November 2009.

2012 Movie

This movie talks about the end of the world in 2012 and this movie is famously know for its CGI(Computer-generated imagery) and the ground breaking background score. People, please keep in mind that this is just a movie, just like the other Hollywood films like “Godzilla”, “Independence day” and “The Day After Tomorrow” directed by Roland Emmerich.

The whole story blends the idea of Mayan calendar which states that the mayan calender is coming to an end on 21st December 2012. According to the movie, 21st Dec 2012 is just like the end of the world, and hence Roland Emmerich picturised the movie as if the world comes to an end on that particular day. In fact that’s not the case. Once should agree with the fact that mayan calender comes to an end on 21st Dec 2012 which in turn doesn’t mean the date implies the end of the world, but rather a new cycle.

Looks like we are getting slightly out of the topic. Let’s just get back to the story lineup. The movie kicks up in the nearing future of 2009 with group of scientists foresee the signs of massive disaster on earth in near future. By 2010 US president is reported about the disaster and so the president himself calls up a G8 summit with 7 other prominent leaders around the world. In the mean while the titular year 2012 approaches and things start becoming worse. The story goes on with some terrific scene streak, with a perfect mix of fascinating CGI on the screen combined with fabulous audio score behind the scene.

Over all I seriously feel that the film has some depth in it. Wishing all the best for this phenomenal film 2012. Please do give out your comments after watching the film.
