Aircell has just announced the first of its kind Smartphone which is android based for aircraft use.
The company still has to work for providing the Smartphone for economy passengers, as it is designed for business aircraft only as yet. People owning a private jet can take full advantage of the phone. But let’s keep our fingers crossed, maybe soon a Smartphone will be launched for all of us travelling by air. The user can easily and very conveniently place and receive calls using this all new Smartphone. The phone comes with the Bluetooth, 3.8-inch touchscreen, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The company boasts that they will provide the best sound quality airborne. The phone is quite sleek and in true sense a Smartphone. The company is expecting to release this latest Smartphone by late 2011. The specifications as well as the price are still to be disclosed by the company, nothing much has been revealed as yet. It is really an evolution in the mobile industry, maybe soon other phone companies might be looking in this direction of Smartphone.
