Amazon Kindle Sales Hit a Top Number on Black Friday

Amazon has revealed today that the Kindle sales have hit a top number on Black Friday. The companies vice president said “Black Friday was the best ever for the Kindle family—customers purchased 4X as many Kindle devices as they did last Black Friday— and last year was a great year,”.

The vice president also hinted that customers are buying multiple devices one for themselves and other as a gift. No exact sales figure has been revealed by the company. It was also reported that amazon received over 500,000 pre-orders for the kindle device. Amazon offered a discount from $379 to $259 and it will also continue today for Cyber Monday.
