ZTE Amigo: Cheap KeyBoard Phone For Social Networking Fans

ZTE also joined the race this year by announcing a new handset at the Mobile World Congress, the ZTE Amigo. This Chinese company is launching the handset soon this year, but I must tell you that the phone is really very cute and looks quite impressive. It’s a slider phone and believe me that it is far lighter than all those bulky phone we carry around, it weighs just about 120gms.

The phone operates on the Android OS and the 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen display along with a camera with a resolution of 3.15 Mp is what the handset has to offer. The phone houses a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard too. All those fans of social networking and messaging, here is a treat for you. Connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPRS, Wi-Fi, USB port and Edge all are provided by ZTE in this new launch of theirs.

Also the phone provides GPS support, a must for today’s upcoming Smartphones. ZTE is well known for its cutting edge yet comparatively cheap handsets, and we look forward that this phone lives upto its expectations. The price of the phone is yet to be disclosed by the company. The release date of the phone is rumoured to be June this year, so let’s wait and watch.
