Android mobiles generally drain battery very heavily if the phones settings are not tweaked properly. Data usage, total number of running applications and brightness settings play a very vital role in saving battery life of your mobile. In this article I will tell you how to set your android froyo mobiles brightness settings.

Go to settings on your android handset, if you are using HTC wildfire then come to the home screen and click on menu and choose settings and choose –> display –> brightness. You can setup your screen brightness these.

You can also choose automatic brightness so that android sets the brightness for you. Alternatively, you can also add a widget called “power control” (comes default on HTC wildfire) to set the screen brightness when ever you want it.
