Apple iPad Tablet PC Positive and Negative Sides

It’s nearly a week since the apple iPad entered into the market. Unfortunately, I didn’t get an opportunity to place my hands on this beautiful device. However, I talked to few people who took a really close look at it. So, as far as my understanding goes on here are some of the positive and negative aspects of ipad.

Positive Side:
The ipad has a really slim design which makes it carry to any where you wanted. The device can display video’s, pictures and games with a great touch screen interface. The applications work beautifully fine too.
The device is cheap, very cheap in deed. Low end of the device costs 500$ and high end costs between $800 to $1000. 16 Gb version of the device costs $500 and 64GB with 3G data cost somewhere around $800 to $1000.
The touch screen interface is stunning by its nature. It’s easy ease navigation allows you to control the device with a very high comfort. The device also has a bright screen too. The ipad is highly responsive; flipping pictures and other app icons is made easy in this device. The device reorients when your rotate it, now, that feature is truly awesome.
Ipad has great connectivity to the internet. The device is highly responsive to the links and loads web pages much faster than iphone. The entire website looks exactly the same way as if you are looking in your pc or laptop. The device has a handy battery life. 10 hours video and 30 days standby time is just awesome for any device that has such huge screen.
Negative Side:
Now, it’s time to look into the negative side of the device. The device has some type of problem with the Wi-Fi connectivity. Many people seem to complain about this issue in the official ipad forums hours after buying it.
The device has no multi tasking, which is yet another great back drop. Lack of camera, at least a basic one is a real big surprise.
The device has no mouse connectivity, which makes few people like me very very uncomfortable . The keyboard that is displayed on the device is not that great to type long text of notes.
Websites that use adobe flash elements might not work in the device. However, you can use an application that is present in the device to watch youtube video’s.
