ASUS with tablet “TOUGH”…
Asus- a computer peripheral producer brand name has stepped in the Tab world with a very strong, durable and exciting product. It recently unveiled its upcoming tablet named: “TOUGH”. It simply goes with its name and sounds tough, rugged and durable in the real world. The tab is stuffed with almost all features that are enough to compete with other tablets blossoming in the market.
The best part about this tab is that it is water proof and dust resistant. These properties really stand out.
It will be running on Honey Comb 3.2 operating system.
Now if we look at its specifications or features-much is not known.
The company has kept most of the things in tight wraps. But still we have a slight idea in air of its key features.
This tab owns a 7inch multi touch screen display rendering you a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It is powered with
a duel core 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and runs on the operating system Honey Comb 3.2 by Google. It is powered by a 7,400mAh battery.
The tablet houses 16GB of built –in internal memory for storage purpose. It equips a 5-mega pixel rear camera to give you better picturing experience and live the moment with your clicks cherishing that moment. But the front camera is missing which limits its video calling property. This can be a little upsetting news. Also unfortunately it lacks the much needed 3G 
It is also equipped with EVDO, Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPS and Wi Max.
This tablet is surely a very smart product from Asus and pretty much a good choice for those who are in search of something durable. And the dust and water resistant property makes it ultra special.
It has a USB port and a micro SD card slot which lets you expand its memory with the help of micro SD cards but till what limit is not known till now.
The battery backup, interface, the price, and other features still remain unexplored. However the Tab will go on sale in Japan in the fourth quarter of 2011.
