Adidas recently launched a device called the Speed Cell. The device is used to keep track of your workouts or fitness level. It fits to your shoes and tracks all your metabolic activities like foot speed, acceleration, and distance traveled.

There is also a similar type of device from Nike but what makes this device different is it has the ability to work with running and multiple sports where as Nike’s device focus only with running.

The device acts like a personal trainer and instruct you how you are doing your metabolic activities. It also helps to determine how hard you’re working out. The output will be shown in stats. This device can come very handy to Athletes. They will be able to use the Adidas Speed cell to track other unique stats like: average speed, maximum speed, number of sprints, and distance at high intensity, steps and strides.

The device possesses the memory which can store the stats up to 7 hours and can wirelessly transfer the data to your Smart phone or computer.

Price:

The device is expected to hit markets by the first week of December with a price tag of Rs 5500.
