Vodafone India has moved a step further by launching cheapest mobile phone in the market on May 5, 2010. One of the interesting points to watch out is that it’s not network locked any more. One of the India’s largest mobile service providers is also moving the dice by offering free connections to users at very handy prices.

It’s almost clear that the mobile is for typically backward people who can’t afford to buy fancy phones. The phone comes with a “MagicBox” and also with a new prepaid connection.

A sim card that has lifelong validity comes just for free along with this mobile. The user also gets 30 days free caller tune along with Rupees 10 talk time. News alert service which costs 30 Rupees also comes as a bonus.
Judging by the cost of the phone the cost prices per call is also convincingly low. 30 paisa is charged per minute for Vodafone to Vodafone mobiles. 50P is what it costs for other phones with different sim cards.
