Commenting Strategy – How to Comment Effectively on Other Blogs.

Commenting is a great way to generate traffic to a blog, the more you comment the more traffic you get, its all about traffic; Right. Well, if your feelings reflects the above statement then you are absolutely WRONG, you saw it right, at least your feelings are sure enough to be wrong.
In reality, comments are like stepping stones to your blog, they reflect the brand of your blog and show the passion and respect you have for it. So here are some tips to improve the brand name of your blog by improving the way you comment.

Comment = Traffic (Not always) – If you have a mindset that says comments are for traffic, then first change that attitude. It’s not about traffic all the time, its about reputation and brand name. Of course traffic is a factor but not so crucial one.
So How to Comment ?
I just don’t want to waste your time and my time by writing long articles that streches to say few points, so let’s get into it right away.
One : Read the articles completely before commenting, at least few critical points.
Two : Make sure your comments are completely related to the topic.
Three : 3 to 5 lines of your comments would make the author feel better of his writing and proportionally a thought to visit your blog increases dramatically.
Four : Appreciate the author with good collection of phrases and sentences, that would create an impression of your brand name in his mind. Comments like “Great article”, “Good work” wouldn’t help you that much.
Five : Avoid commenting if you don’t understand the articles or if you don’t have time to read the article.
Six : I noticed that few people comment on the Video articles with out even looking at the video presented, that’s the worst practice I have noticed in few of the bloggers around me, please don’t comment if you don’t have time to watch the video. All the videos shared here are worth watching,
Seven : Following your comment is a great habit, there are hardly 5% of indian bloggers doing that (I’m not among them and I am sure you are not there too). Following your comments would make you a piece of pearl in a random collection of stones. You would certainly be a favorable pick of the author in case he/she offers some kind of services for free.
So, that ends things. Hope you liked this one, any comments and suggestions are always appreciable.

Latest Technology info,

you are right. the point : “dont comment if you have not time to watch the video” i agree with that, and this cases happens in other blogs, and some people like to be the first in certain popular blogs , they think if they were first they will can drive more traffic to their blog. its wrong, as it said here the readers should read the post full before commenting, and the comments should be geniune. becasue other commenters don know how worthful of waste of time. but the author knows better . so dont lie to him. he/she never follows. the one line commments are waste of time. if you dont like the post, say it clearly with a elegant way. not in a rude way ” you *&@%^ ” like that. it makes the author to block your ip address forever.
Respect and comment if you are able to that or judge it
@ Sriiganesh , Thanks man, you got a new point.
@ Readers, If you don’t like any post, just say that you don’t like it. That way the author can improve and write a better article next time.
Commenting=traffic is 100% true but in this post you told it is not true and it is about buliding reputation but dont you think it is the same thing…if you dont have reputation and your brand name then no one will visit so no traffic…so it should be like commenting=traffic=reputation you will also agree with this
Can you explain the 7th point i did not understood
@ Lucifer, You are right, updated the post. Thanks for your informative comment.
Nice Explanation for commenting role in blogging. yes Commenting can make another difference in our blogging time
I have nearly 70+ daily visit blog list and I found some people, well known people in your word always put online comment like “nice share”, “thanks for sharing”, “good software, thanks for sharing” and so. They put over 30-40 comment regularly and I believe they do it for traffic and I am sure one of them going to read my reply because I see lot of comment of that person here too. I personally comment, when I think I should comment and always try to justify my comment. I don’t want traffic from comment, I believe my article is good enough for that. And the worst thing is those all are Indian budding bloggers.
nice post… I have written a similar article in my blog… I will be happy if you check out that.
I checked out your blog and it looks good.
