Yet another blogger interview for my readers, but this time its one of my closest friend Aswani, who blogs at http://www.aksindiblog.com . I’m glad that he responded quickly enough to this interview call. I’m truly impressed with his interview and hope you would like it too.

1: Describe yourself in two sentences if possible in one.(Small & simple test for ur vocabulary)

A: An avid blogger from India with an addiction for Internet and a passion for making friends online. I think I would be dead without Internet. My day begins and ends with the same. Being an Internet addict, I think I have learned a lot till now and hoping to learn more and more.

2: URL of your Blog or Website gives out a brief outline for it.

A: My blog http://www.aksindiblog.com is like an asset to me. It is a blog about each and everything. Not limited to anything. I keep on including anything which interests me. Unlike other professional blogs, I have kept it as a personal one. I created this blog 2 years back and the motive behind its creation was to fulfill my desire – the desire to write. Yes, I love to write actually and it’s more of a creative writing which thrills me. I love being creative with my blogging and I really appreciate those who do the same.

aks You Don’t Need To Be a Great Writer To Be a Good Blogger says Aswani3: What is your typical workday as a blogger? (Try to be a bit explicative)

A: As I said earlier in the first question, I am Internet addict. The same goes with my blogging too. I try not to miss it any cost. Though I am not that active with it now as I was a year back. Yes, I have a very busy schedule here. Hardly getting any time to blog. And even when I get it, I am lacking interest at times. And to blog without interest, is just impossible for me. This is how my blogging days are going on presently. Not as per my expectations.

4: Tell me about the time you had a conflict with your blog (Don’t say that you never had any conflict, every blog should have a turning point). How did you handle it?

A: Well, there were a number of occasions when I had conflicts with my blog. Can’t remember anyone exactly but yes, I had some terrible times in choosing the right design for my blog. I kept on trying each and everything, almost 100s of templates before I finally got the right one for my blog. Then I had problems in choosing the right widgets for my blog which again took months to decide. Now, I am quite relaxed but not yet satisfied.

5: Talk something about your daily routine.

A: My daily routine begins and ends with my job. Yes, I am in a job actually and blogging is just my part-time passion. Not a full-time blogger.

6: Do u prefer being a professional blogger?(Yes/No)  Please give a proper reason for either of the cases.

A: Nice question. Well, I am not a professional blogger and to be honest, I never wanted to be the same. The reason for this is that I had never any such plan to be a full-time blogger. And I guess, most of the professional bloggers are full time bloggers. Plus, one more reason for the same is that being a professional blogger, you just have to stick around your niche like money blogging, blogging tips, etc… which goes completely against what I think. I believe in creative blogging, blogging on anything of my interest or say, anything which interests me. And I believe that it doesn’t fit well with the professional bloggers.

7: What do you like to do in your spare time other than blogging?

A: Other than blogging, I love being social with people around. I love to spend my time on social networks like Blogcatalog, Twitter, Facebook and Orkut. I love to make friends online and this is what I’ve been doing like anything for the last 2 years. I really enjoy it. It is that sort of life that I have always desired for. At the end of the day, I am quite happy and satisfied.

8: Choose the word that matches you at the most: Creative, Smart and Hard Working? Please explain us why?

A: The word which matches me the most is – Addict. Well, I am just addicted to internet. Just so natural for me. Can’t help. But I am trying my best to get out from this as it is badly affecting my health. Hopefully, I will be able to get out from this very soon. Plus, other words which fit me are: Hardworking, Smart-working, Creative, Innovative, Motivator, Jolly, Moody, etc…

9: If you could choose one superhero power, what would it be and why?

A: Superheroes…I don’t have much fascination for such characters. But still, my superhero would be Hulk. Hulk does look like a superhero to me. Just have look at his structure and his daring physique. Much better than Spiderman and the so called, Indian superhero, Krish ;)

10: Mention some incidents when you laughed yourself out? (No problem if you don’t have any)

A: When I laughed out like anything. Well, it happens to me so often these days but to tell you exactly, I remember it happened few days back in my office. A guy was in a hurry to go to the toilet and he had no other options left other than to wait for the person who was already inside it. He was dying to get inside it. But the other guy seemed to be having fun over there. And…hehehe, you could have looked at his expressions. Seemed that he would do it then and there itself. I was watching the whole thing. Without waiting for long, I went to him and advised him to use ladies toilet instead. He refused in the beginning but later couldn’t do much. He went inside ladies toilet, just made sure that he escaped from the eyes of ladies around. He did escape but not for long. He was caught right after he came out from the toilet. He was caught by some ladies who kept on laughing at him and so did we. Even he himself started laughing but was embarrassed very soon

11: A word for the fellow bloggers.

A: Blogging is fun. Be simple, Be creative, Be original, Be interesting, Be emotional…I bet you will be the best blogger in the world. You don’t need to be a great writer to be a good blogger. You just need to be yourself. The desire to entertain your readers is what is required. Do not run after the money thing. It will come surely. Have patience, learn from fellow bloggers and keep doing your work…That’s it!

Hey Aswani, Great interview man. Known Aswani from the last month, and what do I observe about him is that he is quite a supportive person, very friendly nature and loves to talk. I love the last answer of yours, i.e, for a good blogger you don’t need to be a good writer. Passion for blogging is the key here, if you have the passion, I am sure you are gonna be the superstar blogger. All the best for the future dude.
