Google Motion April Fool Prank Turns Out Real with FAAST and Kniect
The previous day I saw a video about (Gmail Motion) that’s turned out to be really interesting for a while. The video shows the product manager (Paul McDonald) of Gmail announcing the new feature Gmail Motion. He says the physical actions are converted into actionable commands to open and reply an email from your Gmail account. I was quite disappointed with that, after knowing that its was just an April fool prank.

Well, early today I saw another video, which brought Gmail Motion into reality. Kinect cameras are smart enough to catch the gestures that can open and reply to mails that you received in your Gmail mail box.
People from ITC MXR Labs developed FAAST application which allows you to send and open a email by simple gestures. Guess what? “licking the stamp” to send an email is also available, funny gesture indeed. Watch out this video to know more.
