Google SearchWiki Has No Relation With SERP Results
Google launched SearchWiki way back in November 20, 2008 with an intention to help users to customize google search results for their own conveniences. There is no surprise in that fact that there are people who say “Searchwiki has some relation with SERP Results”. In fact my research proves that there is no relation between Google searchwiki and Google SERP results. Here is how my research went on.

I kicked off with Searchwiki’s features and found great information about searchwiki and learned how this actually works. It did surprise me a bit in the beginning, because I can actually use this as a search engine bookmark for a search keyword, I can add links, delete unwanted stuff and can even share the stuff to all my friends. That really looked cool.
Then I got a doubt, if Searchwiki has something to do with SERP results. I started reading more and more and asked few bloggers around about this issue. Most of them told me that Searchwiki has nothing to do with SERP rankings but there were few who replied other way too. In the mean while I visited Google blog that talks about searchwiki. I happened to see the following line while going through the post. The article says…
The changes you make only affect your own searches.
So, there ended my search!! The above sentence clearly means that customizations done in searchwiki has nothing to do with search results. I will continue to learn more about this and post any further updated information right here in this post.
