Hello everyone, I am Himanshu Yadav, a B.Tech Graduate from New Delhi, India. I am a professional blogger and blogging is my passion. My hobbies are surfing on Internet, listening to music and reading books and magazines.
Interview:
1: Describe yourself in two sentences if possible in one. (Small & simple test for your vocabulary)
A: I am an introvert, silent and hard working person. I am curious to know new things in the field of Blogging and technology.
2: URL of your Blog or Website, give out a brief outline for it.
A: My blogs are Blogtechnika and Helloicy. Blogtechnika is a niche blog where I write about Blogging, blogging tips, Social media tips, make money online and Wordpress. Helloicy is a tech blog where I write on Technology news, Social media, social networking, Windows, Google etc.
3: What is your typical workday as a blogger? (Try to be a bit explanation)
A: I always try to maintain my schedule. I spend more than 14 hours with of my computer. The day start at 10a.m. and ends at 3.00 a.m. The main advantage of professional blogging is that we can get rid of 9 to 5 job.
4: Tell me about the time you had a conflict with your blog (Don’t say that you never had any conflict, every blog should have a turning point). How did you handle it?
A: When I was working in a telecom company I had lot of conflict with my blog. As blogging becomes my passion, I found very difficult to synchronize between my day job and blogging. It was really very hard time for me, due to which I was unable to do both the work properly. Also sometimes I met with writer’s block (a condition when you have no idea what to write on your blog). I do many things like watching television or meeting with friends. This makes me relax and charged and I easily track back to my work.
Pro Vamsi(The Host): Often, bloggers( specifically beginners ) have problem in choosing a topic on which they have to blog. Well, I had the same problem when I started Internet Tomorrow, way back in may 2008. I should say that you can overcome this problem over time. Now, the simplest equation to solve this problem is not to restrict yourself in writing articles related only to your niche. You can always write articles other than your niche, I mean just throw your heart over the fence and write something innovative, I’m sure your readers would like the change. Every reader likes “CHANGE”, I like it as everybody does, in fact change is what blogging is all about.
5: Talk something about your daily routine.
A: I wrote a post 22 steps in a daily life of a professional blogger. My life is just relevant to this. I wake up at 10 a.m. and sleep at 3 a.m.
6: Do u prefer being a professional blogger? (Yes/No) Please give a proper reason for either of the cases.
A: I am a professional Blogger. I was doing job in a telecom company and I resigned from my job in the month of September. The reasons behind my resignation are:
I started earning comparable amount of money from my blog and freelancing services and I thought it’s the best time to resignation and also I want to concentrate on a single work.
Blogging brings lots of happiness, fame, money and satisfaction in my life. I am fully satisfied with my blogging life.
7: What do you like to do in your spare time other than blogging?
A: In free time I like to watch movies, listening to songs and giving some time to my family and friends.
8: Choose the word that matches you at the most: Creative, Smart and Hard Working? Please explain us why?
A: I am hard working guy. Although all the three things you have mentioned is necessary for blogger but the most required thing for blogging is hard work, patience and consistency.
9: If you could choose one superhero power, what would it be and why?
A: I will choose the power of Super Commando Dhruv because he is clever and can beat anyone by using the combination of his mind and power.
10: Mention some incidents when you laughed yourself out? (No problem if you don’t have any)
A: In the month of Feb 09 when I started blogging, I purchased almost all the computer and gadget magazine in the market worth Rs 600 and read all the books for immediate knowledge of the latest happening of tech world.
11: A word for the fellow bloggers.
A: In my personal experience blogging requires lots of hard work and sacrifices. But it brings lots of money and fame in life. If you are planning to become a professional blogger then always remember that blogging requires disciplined and hardworking life. Consistency, hard work and innovation are the three pillars of blogging. Wishing a good luck to all of you.
