Well, if you are a kind of person who does not know how to apply for new airtel Broadband Connection then, this post would surely help you . But before that you better know about other broadband services available in your area before going to airtel Broadband. Because Airtel is becoming a bit lazier these days and they did not get me a connection even after 9 days of my connection request.

Well now, here we go. The process of applying for the connection is extremely simple but, it takes few weeks to get your connection active depending on the availability of lines in your area. To start with all you need to do is to call 121, the default customer care number from any airtel land line followed by 1 and then 1 and followed by 9 which would get the final number as 121119. The dial would take you to the customer care executive, where you can request for new land line connection for your broad band.
You have to tell them the Name of the person on whom the connection has to be registered. You also need to have a Xerox copy of photo attested address proof to actually get the new connection. 1500 Rupees would be your initial payment, which includes registeration and installation fee etc. Remember 1000 Rupess out of 1500 is non refundable.
Now, let me tell you something before you rush up to get the new connetion. Please make sure that your area has good number of connections available before actually registering for a new connection. Let me tell you something, as far as my experiance is consurned Airtel customer care really sucks, they don’t answer any question properly if your area does not have good number of connections available. So make sure that your area has connections available before actually getting a new connection.
