Facebook is indeed one of the top social networking site in the world and there is no doubt about that. Many people are joining this site to get into touch with their dear ones. In the mean while, there are people who want to remove or delete their facebook account for “N” number of reasons.

I don’t think facebook does allow you to permanently delete your account but it can be done temporarily I guess. Twitter is also having the same kind of issue but the facebook dominates the run as usual. This might be because of the over wheeling emails people receive when somebody offer a friend request or when their friends comment or likes their status update.
Few people also believe that the piracy issues is also one of the reason for removing the account. Now if you are so serious about deleting your account then you might just find this link so useful.
