Broadband connection is a must for all the teens and business men now a days. But getting a fast or quick broadband connection is becoming really tough these days. Now, here is my story where I wasted for about 10 to 15 days by following the corporate process. I would seriously don’t encourage you not to follow any corporate process to get a broadband connection.

Well,  everything started with a connection request for New Airtel Broadband connection in the ground floor of my house as I already have one in the first floor. The request is made via my Airtel land line I already have. I told customer care that I have immediate requirement of internet and the person told me that my connection request would be done in 2 days.

To get a Broadband connection from Airtel, you need to have photo attested address proof and a passport size photo. Now, what is the proof needed to get a broadband connection ?  I thought a ration card would do it. But, it good to have a copy of PAN Card or Driving License or Voter identity card. I decided to get a connection in my Grandfather’s name and got the xerox copies of all the proofs. Now, 2 days past I called customer care to ask them what went wrong. They told me that they would actually take 7 days to get an active internet connection. I shacked my head for what ever they said. I called them every day asking them for the status. Every customer care executive replied as if they are lying. No two individuals gave me a unique response. Finally a week past; No internet connection in my house. I left it going for 12 days No answer.

I am really sad to say that Airtel customer care really sucks. After all what can they do if they have bad networking executives who does not get the process done with in the time period mentioned.

How To Get Fast Quick Broadband Connection

I thought its a complete waste of time to talk to helpless customer care executives. I managed to drop in to airtel office near by (Customer Relationship Center) and explained the situation. Thank fully Airtel Management appointed much better executives at Customer Relationship Center. The person gave me a direct contact of a Executive who took the direct application request to get the connection. The connection is done in 4 days.

Unfortunately, I don’t have his contact number now as I left it in my purse, but do contact me (Vamsi),  to get the executive number, I will surely help you by giving his number.

So if you are thinking of getting a broadband connection, I would seriously advice you to get a contact number of executive who can fill your application and get the connection for you in few days. I cannot drop his mobile number here, however you can contact me to get the executive number I used to get my connection. I hope this article helped you somehow.
