How To Improve | Increase HTC WildFire (Android Phone) Battery Life
I really had very tough time with my HTC wildfire one week after buying it. The phone was quite good for the first few days, later the battery started draining like hell.100% charge on my HTC gave me just 5 to 6 hours stand by time, which is quite unnatural. Now, if you have similar kind of issues with your HTC phone, or any other android mobile, then this article might just help you. Please note that this guide might help you control the battery to some extent, we don guarantee cent percent satisfaction all the time.
I was completely upset with the battery performance of my phone after 1 week, so I had to sit and troubleshoot for the root cause of the problem. On googling I found few things that I should take care of. The first that caught my attention was the auto sync option. This option allows your phone to contact internet automatically for a regular time interval to fetch updates for applications that needs internet connection. I turned the option off and I found better performance.
I used to have 2g connection turned on all the time, turning it off helped of to save the battery to some extent.
Later I installed an application called advanced task killer to kill the applications that should be turned off when I no longer needed. I also set a dark color wall paper to improvise the battery life, thewallpaper thing worked for me to some extent.
Now the bottom line is, turn off your 3g, 2g, wi-fI and bluetooth when you don really need them, very really drain your battery. Use app killer is kill apps you are working with. Reduce screen brightness and use dark color wallpapers
