How to Search For Photos and Files (pdf |doc) in Gmail

Gmail has some very cool features that everybody should explore. They can make your life much simpler than you can ever imagine. But, the sad thing is that people are not aware of some of the awesome features gmail supports. One such feature is searching for files in your gmail account.

One: So, if you want to search for all the emails that has attachments, you can search in the gmail search box as follow.

has:attachment

TWO: If you are looking for a specific set of attachments, like pdf or doc, then you can use this.

filename:doc
or
filename:pdf

THREE: And now, you want to have all the emails that has either pdf attachment, doc attachment or both then you search this way.

filename:(pdf OR doc)

FOUR: If you are looking for files sent by a specific person, then you can search your gmail, like this.

filename:(pdf OR doc) email-address-of-the-person
Example
filename:(pdf OR doc) lyssa@india365.org
