HTC Evo 3D
HTC recently launched a significantly efficient product the HTC Evo 3D. It stacks in a lot for everyone . The LG optimus 3D is a similarly endowed phone but there is much more in store for you all, as compared with the Lg optimus 3D having great expectations from this newly launched 3D phone as it is the successor to the intensely popular HTC EVO4G (Sprints flagship Android phone that was launched only in US)
Lets have a deeper look at this phone…
HTC Evo 3D is pretty cool handset having a capacitive 4.3″ screen. The usual 4 Android buttons are at the bottom of the bezel and are touch sensitive along with LED backlit.
The mini HDMI cable which was noticed on EVO4G isnt present on this device. It supports a 3.5mm headphone jack for the purpose of connecting.
CAMERA: This is the most interesting part of this phone . It sports a 5 meggar camera . The dual cameras packed in shiny black strips with a deep red rim is stacked on about a 4th of back panel area. The backpanel craetes the grip needed as it is fully rubberised.
If you wish to take a 2D shot, only one of the camera’s takes the initiative and if you choose the 3D shot, two images are captured simultaneously and then layered one above the other to create the much needed 3D. There are a lot of effects to choose from ..like White Blance,ISO, Exposure, Vintage etc thus gives you a complete photography experience. Also video recoeding can be held in HD in both 2D and 3D.
The camera’s shutter button is itself very efficient -there is a slided on top which brings to you the choice of 2D or 3D mode. The phone also equips a 1.3mp secondary camera( in front) which takes the responsibility of all the video calls taking place.
USER INTERFACE: The phone runs on Android v2.3 Gingerbread which is the master of efficiency and on top of that there is a surprising presence of HTC’s latest UI, SENSE3.0.
SENSE really adds a touch of perfection to the phone and makes it much more intuitive.
The phone owns 7 customisable homescreen and HTC presents to you quite handy widgets like E-mail, weather, message and apart from these you have a bunch of layout options to choose from ,as a result a lot of customasation waits for you to be unexplored.
There are also many more features which can be accessed from the homescreen . phone provides 6 different lock screens, each incorporating different widgets like stocks, friend stream, clock etc.
And the HTC’s keyboard is a real deligt to use ,the word prediction provided by the phone is the best .
ENTERTAINMENT CORNER: This is the most important corner w wish to see and that to specially in a 3D phone .
The screen offers a resolution of 540*960 pixels, the video playback is smooh and crisp unless you dont move the phone much in between. The sound quality supported is kind of average but the thing that is the cynosure is the earphone sound. You will surely be mesmerised seeing and experiencing the affluency of sound depth in the earphones- it is better than most of the MP3 players.
customisation and experimentation is a deeper side of this phone . You can even experiment with the highly efficient and super fast browsing experience. You can zoom into a web page, the screen automatically adjusts wing mode. You can highlight the full sentence or a phrase or tap and long press a word which will open to you the ” Quick lookup” option.
HTC brings to you its own Email app which incorporates a great layout ,diaplays or contact profile pics. It also resizes the text to fit to the screen.
3D: The best part is that you dont need to wear 3d glasses to see the effect, but see at a certain angle to see the efeect. But its 3d isn’t that impressive. You get sharp and vibrant photo in lightening but they arnt that good in low light which is a little bit upsetting thing.
