HTC M and Desire series smartphones all set to get HTC One A9’s design

HTC M-series and Desire series is now all set to get the design of the HTC A9. At a press conference, President of HTC North Asia, Jack Tong said, “Starting with One A9, our design language will enter a different and fashionable phase.”

It seems that the idea to give the designs of A9 to the other HTC phones is simply to attract the consumers. To compete with the iPhone the company has been working on the brand new One-series handsets as detailed by Cher Wang, Chairwoman and CEO HTC. Sale for the phone will start in next month.

Earlier Tong was seen defending the company from the controversy that HTC had copied the design of iPhone 6, according to Tong; HTC is the first company to introduce a metal body with antenna bands on the rear panel, which was later copied by the Apple.

HTC has been struggling with its mid range smartphones. HTC A9 can be said one of the finest creations of the HTC flagship, back in 2013 HTC launched its One A7 which first introduced the full metal body design.

HTC One A9 is the first non-Nexus phone to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Phone features a 5-inch 1080p resolution AMOLDED display; consist of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset, and a 3GB of RAM. HTC will use A9’s design as a template for the new upcoming M-series and the Desire series smartphones. HTC has plans to come over the losses of the company by offering some attractive and affordable smartphones which can compete the high end of the race.
