I am using Airtel Broad band connection for a some time now, and I’m very happy with it until I started using µTorrent. Every time I start download using this torrent client, my browser virtually dies until I stop or finishing the download. So I had to search for a way to increase my Internet connection to work with both my browser and torrent client simultaneously. I found a hack on Internet which I’m gonna show you right away. Hope it works for you too.

The only requirement is that you should  either use Windows Vista or Windows 7 so that this hack works perfectly fine. So here we go…

Open your command prompt using administrator settings.

Then use these commands in order.

CD/
netsh int tcp show global
netsh int tcp set global chimney=enabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp
netsh int tcp show global

There is no need to restart your PC after executing these commands. Your connections should definitely increase. However, don’t expect a rocket speed connection, the connection would surely increase but only to some extent. This youtube video should make things very clear for you.
