Lenovo launched ThinkPad X1 in India
Lenovo announced the launch of ThinkPad X1 in India. Lenovo claim’s ThinkPad X1 as their thinnest ever production model.
It weighs around 3.7 pounds and will be powered by Intel’s second-generation core processors. It comes pre-loaded with key business needs including: video and voice calling, enterprise management and an easy-to-use computing experience. The laptop will have 13.3-inch display protected by Gorilla glass, making it scratch resistant.

- Only 3.7 pounds/1.72kg, measuring less than 17 mm
- 13.3-inch super bright infinity screen made of Corning Gorilla Glass – for extra durability, rigidity and scratch resistance
- Lenovo RapidCharge – recharges batteries to 80 percent in only 30 minutes
- Next generation multimedia experience with Dolby Home Theatre V4, HDMI and low light sensitive HD camera
- Instant Resume – helps users keep their wireless connection, whether its Wi-Fi or mobile broadband, even when the laptop goes into sleep mode, up to 90 minutes
- The X1 will run Windows 7 with Lenovo’s enhanced experience 2.0 which will increase start up times of the laptop.
- Using its optional mobile broadband 720p camera, high definition microphones and advanced calling modes for clear video calls
- Optional Intel vPro technology, encrypted hard drives with remote management support and a fingerprint reader with one touch swipe for power on and authentication
- Superior VOIP experience with advanced noise and echo cancellation
Lenovo X1 has similar design as Samsung Series 9 and the MacBook Air.
