LG G2X with dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor

The giant in the mobile industry, LG has announced yet another cutting edge phone in its G series, the LG G2X. T- Mobile introduced this handset early this year with the tagline “T-Mobile’s first smartphone to feature a dual-core processor, the G2x is the latest smartphone to join T-Mobile’s G-series lineup on America’s largest 4G Network”. They made clear that the phone must be something to get such a grand opening.

T-Mobile LG G2X, also popularly known as the LG Optimus 2X, and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor which can assure high quality graphical effects. The phone has four inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels is what the smatphone has to offer. The handset runs on Google’s latest Android 2.2 OS with access to Android Market. 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front facing camera for enabling the users to video chat is what comes equipped in this mobile.

The phone houses is 8 GB of phone memory plus a microSD card slot. The LG G2X will also provide 7.1 multi-channel virtual surround sound and HDMI mirroring, for a better user experience. The rumours have it that the phone will be releases sometime soon this year, maybe April. There has not been any official announcement yet regarding the price and release date of the phone.
