Microsoft and Infosys announce 3 year IT Services Outsourcing Deal

India’s Software giant Infosys Technologies and Global Software giant Microsoft have come up with a 3 year IT outsourcing deal which is said to cover 104 countries. Infosys in their press release mentioned few of the news highlights about the deal.
According to the deal, Infosys will manage internal IT services worldwide. The company is going to provide IT help desk and desk-side services from over 450 locations to 104 countries all around the world.

This deal allows Infosys to expertise and manages Microsoft’s technologies and help users to understand and use Microsoft’s technologies cleverly. End user productivity is enhanced with the introduction of the multi language services by the Indian software giant.
Microsoft is looking for cost cutting due to some reasons and is also planning to layoff employees by the end of the year to support the same. No official announcements about the financial commitments are disclosed by both the companies.
