Motorola Gleam: All Metallic and Sleek Smartphone

Motorola is back again with its new handset, the Motorola Gleam. After the success of Motorola Razr, the company is hoping to have a hit with this new phone. The handset has a metallic finish with gleaming colours like black, red and purple (must say quite trendy). The phone is quite thin about 13.9mm and is a flip back type.

The phone operates on the GSM band i.e., it is specifically for the GSM users only. The phone has a 2.4 inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. Also the phone has a 2 MP rear camera with capabilities such as video capture and landscape video viewing.
The phone is also enabled with WAP 2.0 browser support. FM radio, microSD slot, MP3 playback, Bluetooth 2.1, are also provided in this phone. A 3.5mm audio jack is also there in the handset. The handset is just a basic model with no GPS, 3G or EDGE. It’s basically for people who don’t have much use for high end mobile and just need a handset for calling, messaging and basic data transfer. The handset is expected to release soon this year with an affordable price tag but no official date or price has been disclosed as yet.
