Since last year various rumours have been flying around about a new phone from Nokia of the N-series, Nokia N9. Various speculations have been made regarding the specifications, the features, the release date and the price of this much talked about handset, but nothing has been out yet. This February, at the Mobile World Congress 2011, Nokia officially announced this phone, but still the company is keeping the release date and the price of the handset all hushed up. However,this highly anticipated phone is expected to be released sometime soon this year.

Now, let’s a bit about the phones specifications. This smartphone includes most of the features of a tablet, much like its predecessor N900. The handset also houses an 8MP rear view camera with a resolution of 3264×2448 pixels, it also auto focus and dual LED flash. The phone supports 4 inch AMOLED touchscreen display that gives you 480×800 pixels resolution.
As mentioned in the title, the phone also hosts a 64GB internal memory and in addition a microSD card slot with 32 GB expandable memory. GPRS, EDGE, 3G,Wi-Fi, GPS, USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Blutooth are the additionl features of the phone. The phone comes encased in a metallic body and the OS used in the phone is MeeGo. The handset is built upon 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and this handset also has a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. Now, lets hope to see the handset quite soon in the market.
