Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar – 200 Waited For This Man For A Long Time
38 years of international oneday cricket in which no other batsman in the world achieved this feat before him. There are those (Saeed Anwar, Charles Conventry) who tried to reach there but, the game didn’t allow them at all.
200 is truly waiting for the one great man and the legend of the game to come and conquer it for the very first time in the history of One day International cricket. Of course the man himself did it before any body else. He is none other than Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar, what can I say about this legend. He is the son of Gods and absolute gem of genius. I’m really proud that he is playing for my Nation. “We did not lose to a team called India…we lost to a man called Sachin” -Mark Taylor, during a test match in 1997“, such is the greatness of Tendulkar. He is a man of great character and humbleness. He has great focus for the game and always had hunger to achieve some thing really great. His concentration is ceaseless, with high moral values. Remember what he said right after the game – “I wish I could play another ODI game and stay there for another 50 overs“, such is the huger he had for the game for the past 21 years.
Sir Don Bradman, the great test cricket player ever, didn’t play under lights, no irritating match schedules, no ODI, T2O and premier league matches in parallel to the traditional test match cricket and most importantly no computers and other digital devices to spot his weakness. But sachin, is unlike Sir Don Bradman. He played under all those conditions and held an awesome record of scoring over 31 K runs in different formats of the game.
He lifted his bat and his helmet(See the first picture)for 93 times in his test and ODI career. The little master also hold an awesome and a very rear record of collecting highest “man of the match” and “man of the series” trophies of all time. The man who was criticized for his height in the beginning, kept the tallest of the bowlers, struggle to bring him down in any format of the game, such is the talent he has got. Almost every Indian is proud of this man and wishing him lot more success in the future encounters.
