For all the bike and adventure sport loving people, or people on the field, Samsung has answered all mobile woes with the launch of its latest Galaxy Xcover rugged smartphone that is powered on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Operating System. Motorola Defy is currently ruling the market for rugged Android smartphones.The Samsung Xcover 271 was launched by Samsung last year had only the basic rugged mobile features But with Xcover they plan to enter the rugged arena in a big way.The Samsung Galaxy Xcover has been certified by IP67 is developed in a way to protect the handset from all adverse climatic & geographical conditions like water, dust or getting hit on hard surfaces. This phone works even after remaining in water for 30 minutes .
