Strategies that help you get more comments on your blog

You might have noticed that for the past couple of days I have posted 2 articles related to my personal life. There are very few tech bloggers who does this. Before I started writing the articles I wondered about how people respond for them.
The response(comments) was good enough and the results convinced me very much. So here are some strategies that should help you get more comments on your blog.

–>Give Away:
As far as I know, articles that includes any competition or giveaways gets lot of comments. There is nothing strange here, because people love to win prizes for participating in a contest, they tend to comment, the equation is as simple as that. Here is a perfect example for this (We are looking for paid writers).
–>Personal Life Stories:
You can’t always write articles related to your niche, there should be some change to encourage your readers. Articles related to your life can bring the change you are looking for. Try to write about something really interesting, or something that catches your readers attention. (Cannot Blog Because I had a Problem With My Right Eye)
–>Fun Related Articles:
Everybody likes to laugh and obviously its a good idea to implementing the change with some fun stuff. Implemening change to your blog with some fun stuff should do wonders. After all everything you posted is just for fun. You can also share fun stuff on facebook and twitter to attract more fans and friends.
–>Questions:
Have any problem with something? Its good to ask your friends for ideas. Post an article that explains your problem, tell them some of the possible solutions you know, ask them for advice. In a latest post I asked my friends about a mobile, and here is the article “What is the Best Mobile To Surf Internet – Please Help”. I got some handy replies from people who wanted to help. What impressed is that I got replies from both facebook and twitter. I got more than 15 comments which means 15 of my closest friends replied me on my blogspot, twitter and facebook combined. However, the total number of comments depend on the circle of friends you have. The more number of friends you have the more comments you get.
So these are some of the strategies that I worked out. They not only increase your page views and impression they get lot’s of comments too. Questions at the end of the articles will tempt the reader to comment.. IMO it works great. .
No doubt, these are really very good strategies to get what you require most on your blogs – Comments. I have often felt that until and unless people comment on your blog, there is just no point in writing anything. You writings should be compelling enough to make your readers leave their comments, whatever it may be. I think..ultimately the way you write, does the trick. There is still no secret formula as such to make others do what you want. Talking about my strategies, I try to be simple, interesting, informative, original and at times, very compelling enough through my questions. Thus making others leave their comments.
The best way to get more comments is the killer article u write, the better the article and if its meant and usable by every reader, then i’m sure they will leave a comment, Always at the end ask for the reader’s opinion, that is important.

Just read your though, nice one but I personally don’t like to say something about my personal life in my niche blog. I have my own personal blog for this but when you make your blog personal then you can write what ever you want, you will get comment. For personal blog there is only two magic word, useful content and friend circle. However, if a niche blog maintain my a single person then it is best idea to tell your readers when you going to put a long gap on your blogging.
personal posts helps big time, i have observed this a long time back that if you get personal with your readers, they will feel more at home and will comment a lot.
However, the best strategy for getting more comments is certainly getting more active on the blogosphere,
Best way to get comments in my opinion is while writing bout something giving your personal take. Lets say you are covering a tech service, why do you think its good and secondly what could be next. What next ? is a question which often gets a lot of comments. If not a lot they atleast get relevant comments which add to the post and if you are lucky give you an idea for another post.
Finishing article with questions or discussion will make readers to share their views. This probably increase the number of comments. We can also write articles with some real example or strategies in that. what do you say friend?
