With a view of providing a trouble-free journey and putting safety above everything else, the Trapster app is right here for Android. The app is touted to feature the latest speed trap and enforcement camera database with it already reporting 4.5 million traps. It features rated traps put forward by other users too. Gauging their credibility, it keeps a track on the number of users agreeing with the traps reported.It constitutes the Patrol feature that presents a blue line on paths frequented by other Trapster users. This assures the concerned person that the route was strolled recently. Virtual Radar is a sort of dynamic alert that narrows and curves with respect to the speed and direction of transit.

For all those speedy riders, the speedometer will keep a tab on the speed and will instantly alter the color if the person surpasses the limit. Additionally, it constitutes a Trapster Widget that displays the traps and the votes received that can also be conveniently displayed on the homescreen.

The alerts are available in four languages, namely English, French, German and Spanish. Apart from these, just to tickle the funny bone, there are certain enjoyable sound themes too. Those who wish to run the app in the background can do so by hitting on the home key.

The current version of the Trapster app is 3.0 and it is compatible with Android 2.1 and higher devices. The app can be downloaded for free.
