If you are new to android, and just got an android mobile then the chances are that you may not probably love the all the default settings of android. Being said that one of the feature that irritated me when I got my first android mobile was the vibration and sound feature while typing text message. I dont know if it drains lot of battery or not but I just didn like it. So in this post I will tell you how to disable both the settings on your android froyo device.
Note that these settings might vary for different versions of android, however it should be the same for android froyo based mobiles. So, here is what you have to do.
Just go to settings –> language & keyboard –> touch input –> text input. Now, in the same menu you should see some thing called “other settings”. Turn off “sound feedback” and “vibrate when typing” to disable sound and vibration while typing.
