Are you one of those who what’s to know search engine shares of major search engines in the world, then this article is just for you. We will tell you the market shares of some of the major search engines that include Google, Yahoo and bing. So, here we go.

According to the reports revealed by comScore by Jan 2010, Google is leading the way with 65.4 percent search share and Yahoo Inc takes the second spot with 17.0 percent. Bing is still trying to catch up yahoo with a search share of 11.3%. All this percentages are based on reports that were generated on Jan 2010. You can find more info here.
However, latest results reveal that Google is still comfortable at the top by increasing its search share to 65.5% from 65.4%. Bing gained some popularity too with the increase in their search percentage from 11.3 to 11.5 percent. Yahoo unfortunately lost its search share from 17% to 16.8% over a course of one month.

Google also own over 80% search share in World. The said stat is only applicable for US.
Obviously has to be Google, I dunno who uses Yahoo and for what.Probably because of the Site Explorer
